This is a personal website and newsletter. It is governed by Spanish law, including the GDPR, the Spanish data protection framework, and the Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services.

2. What data is processed

Most of this website can be visited without creating an account or sending personal data. The main case in which personal data is actively collected is the newsletter subscription form.

When you subscribe to the newsletter, the data processed may include:

• your email address
• confirmation and unsubscribe status
• newsletter delivery events such as bounces, complaints, or unsubscribes
• basic technical request information needed to protect the form from abuse

3. Why the data is used

Your data may be processed for these purposes:

• to manage newsletter subscriptions and double opt-in confirmation
• to send the newsletter and related operational emails, including the welcome email
• to process unsubscribes and maintain suppression lists so unwanted emails are not sent again
• to protect the newsletter form and service against spam, abuse, or misuse

The main legal basis for newsletter processing is your consent when you subscribe and confirm your address. Some limited processing may also be based on legitimate interest, for example to prevent abuse or keep suppression records so a previously unsubscribed address is not re-added by mistake.

4. Newsletter providers and hosting

The newsletter workflow uses service providers to operate the site and deliver emails. At the time this page was written, the stack includes Cloudflare for hosting and backend infrastructure, and Resend for outbound email delivery. Those providers may process personal data on behalf of the site operator to make the service work.

If providers change, this page may be updated accordingly. Personal data is not sold.

5. Data retention

Newsletter subscription data is kept while the subscription remains active and for as long as reasonably necessary afterwards to keep legal records, respect unsubscribe requests, and prevent future unwanted sends.

If you unsubscribe, some minimal record may still be kept so the address is not accidentally emailed again.

6. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal data where applicable under data protection law.

You can also unsubscribe at any time from the link included in newsletter emails. For privacy requests, contact ines@goigroup.org. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

7. Cookies and technical resources

This site is intended to be as simple as possible and does not intentionally use advertising or analytics cookies. It may still rely on technical resources required for hosting, security, form submission, or basic site functionality.

The homepage remembers a few display preferences (whether sound and the CRT screen effect are on, and whether you have already seen the boot screen) in your browser's local and session storage. These stay on your device and are never sent anywhere.

The site also loads third-party resources such as web fonts and external links. Those third parties may receive technical connection data such as your IP address as part of a normal web request.

This site includes links to third-party websites. Once you leave this site, their own privacy and legal terms apply.

Content on this site is provided in good faith for general information. No warranty is given that everything will always be complete, current, or error-free.

9. Changes

This page may be updated from time to time as the site, newsletter workflow, or legal requirements change. The current version is the one published here.
